Clarence (T-Bo) Siler, a South-Eastern Kentucky native, after his service in the Army moved to Toledo Ohio in the early 1960's to find work to support his family. In 1966 he began doing roofing work, which he continued doing on into the early 1990’s. In 1970 he started installing gutters and downspouts while still living in Toledo. Just a couple short years later he moved back home to Cane Creek Kentucky where the oldest son, Larry Siler, began learning the trades of the business. In 1975 we wanted to expand our business, so we started installing siding and windows, this is when the second oldest son, Walter Siler, began learning the family business.
Business was good and technological advances kept coming along. In the early 1980’s vinyl siding and windows had made a huge impact on efficiency and curb appeal, that is when we began our switch from aluminum siding and windows to vinyl. Along with this transition, in 1984 the youngest son, Curtiss Siler, began following in his two elder brother’s footsteps.
Siler’s Aluminum is still family owned and operated as a family business. Most of our employees are sons, grandsons and cousins. We now work, manage and operate the business just as Dad did. We cling to the same morals and workmanship that Dad instilled in us as young boys. Our family has been providing excellent services and products for over 50 years and we hope that through hard work and honest dealings we will be able to continue for another 50 years.
Thank You,
Larry, Walter and Curtiss
